PORTRAITS OF HONOUR HERE TODAY

September 7, 2011

Please stop by the Crystal Centre Parking lot anytime after 11 AM today to honour Canada’s fallen troops by visiting the Portraits of Honour National Tour, a memorial that is stopping in Grande Prairie today (September 7) on its 100 City tour of Canada.

157 Canadian Forces Members who lost their lives in Afghanistan are pictured on the memorial. We especially remember Private Kevin Kennedy and Master Corporal Timothy Wilson for their connections to Grande Prairie.

At 6PM Doors will open at the Crystal Gardens for our Friends of the Fallen Gala fundraising dinner, with special guest speaker Paul Franklin. A few tickets are still available at the Crystal Centre Box office for $100 each. A full dinner will be served, and respectful dress is requested.
